It’s exciting when you a play comes out and you look forward to watch it in the stage. The whole experience is just something you can’t miss.
But what are really the experiences people had when going to watch it? Was it good? Did the venue had air conditioning? What justifies the play to done in 2 separate sessions? We’ve gathered some of the reviews of people who attended the show (the ones that I found most relevant) and I’ve included a small section with my personal Tips exclusively for you to have a better experience about going to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre in London.
Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage.

Highly recommend. Harry Potter and the cursed child is one of the best play I have seen. If possible, you should try to book both parts in the same day. If you would like to get cheap tickets, you can try your luck by asking at the ticket box if they have some tickets available or not. If they do, you can get it at very cheap price.
MyTip: If you have the chance try going there every day and try your luck at the Ticket office, as last minute thing. You might get lucky!

Absolutely worth the visit if you’re a Potter fan. Of course there are problems with the story (I would absolutely recommend NOT reading the screenplay before your visit) but the production, and the way the magic is created is absolutely brilliant.
I think you have to completely separate this story from the rest of the Potter universe for it to make any sense. If you go in with this in mind then you won’t be disappointed.
There is one absolutely stand out character who was a joy to watch.
I would definitely recommend but think carefully about whether you see both performances in one day or on separate days as we did both in one and it was a pretty long day with a late home time if you’re travelling any kind of distance
MyTip: I could do either. In one day or two, but really depends on your schedule and if you have children with you or not, they might get tired after the 1st session.

Cursed Child was amazing. I really liked the odd set up of the theatre. Very very steep seating but it works well for visibility. It was much cooler than other theaters that we attended shows at. The security line was ridiculous but went quickly.
MyTip: Take a jumper 😊

Went to see the Harry Potter play which was fantastic. The tester building is beautiful. We had seats at the top balcony. Even tough we were quite big above the stage the view was ok and the sound great. If you wanted to have a bit closer look every seat was equipped with binoculars that could be rented for 1 pound. Lots of stairs. I was very positively surprised at the number of places you could get something to drink or a snack and also how many restrooms there were.
MyTip: With lot of stairs, check the accessibility options in case you or any of your group members need it.

Harry Potter was amazing! The theater was perfectly arranged for a play like that. Bathrooms are a little strange, but not that bad. Snacks aren’t in the greatest variety and you can’t bring food or liquid in.
Very comfortable. Would recommend.
MyTip: I’d go see it after having a nice yummy meal
Hope this preview has helped you.
For me personally I’d advise you to go see Harry Potter at the Theatre as I believe it will be an awesome experience if you haven’t been yet, so I strongly recommend it!
