Best show you will see!
This show is by far my favourite, I have seen this in the UK and NYC and would go again. The whole thing is spectacular from the outfits to the hair raising music. If you have not gone, please go as you will not regret it.
The tickets may be more expensive than other shows but this is 100% worth it, you won’t be disappointed.

Sensational
Took my mother when she visited me in London and we both absolutely loved this production. The cast were brilliant, as were costumes and set design. If you are looking for a thoroughly enjoyable evening with some good chuckles from Rafiki I highly recommend this show. Well known film brought to life.

Mytip: Definitely. It’s a show for all kinds of groups. Then if you go with young kids and families, they will love it.
Not to be missed
Bought as a present and did not disappoint. The theatre is old but it has a lot of character. We were in Row A of the Grand Circle, which is very high up but we had amazing views and we didn’t miss a thing. The costumes, songs, atmosphere and everything is really stunning and for someone who’s not that into Disney, I still really enjoyed the show.

Mytip: Amazing place.
Unforgettable
What a show. I was originally concerned that this was something that would be overrated but thankfully I was proved wrong! I loved every moment. A really good chance to escape into another world in this lovely theatre. We were in the second row and it was worth the money.

Mytip: Generally speaking, The Lyceum Theatre’s Stalls is at street level and has step-free access. The seats span from row A to ZB (omitting rows I and O) are divided into five blocks. The best seats are around one third of the way from the front of the Stalls in the centre, although those situated at the rear still offer an excellent overall view.
wonderful show
The ladies toilet were out of order and my wife had to go long way. They should repair the toilets asap

Special
Wow. What an evening.
Went with the family and didn’t know what to expect or how fantastic this was going to be having watched the cartoon and film. I am not a theatre man and although have enjoyed Phantom of the Opera on Broadway before, this was much better. Costumes, music and presentation was jawdroppingly good and my children who are no strangers to CGI in movies where spellbound and more importantly, silent for the entire 2 or 3 hours. The performers where so professional and enthusiastic it looked like they were doing it all for the first time – a reflection of their skill and talent. I wondered and questioned how they were going to do some of the scenes and the answer I got in my face was “brilliantly”.Surpassed all expectations and I feel very privilaged to have experienced it. Nothing like the live experience.

Mytip: This epic story has been going since 1994 so is just amazing how it progressed till today, in various formats, but always keeping that mystical aspect of courage and determination of young Simba.
Loved The Lion King
Not a theatre goer but loved the show. There is so much happening it keeps you. gripped. No wonder this show has run for 20 years
If I had to make one slight observation I would suggest perhaps consider suitability for younger children as 2 hours with 30 min interval is a long time to keep younger children engaged.

Mytip: Try always to go to the 2.30pm session instead of the 7.30pm and if you’re travelling with children to London, I advise to go to the show after you have slept at least one night to recover from any jetlag.
